The 2021 Golf Season

Welcome back to The Eastbourne Golf Club for our 108th golf season!

Due to Covid-19, we have put rules in place to ensure everyone's safety. Following provincial guidelines, including social distancing, we look forward to our Championships and Match play tournaments. Please note a few new rules:

  • The clubhouse will not be accessible.

  • Washroom will not be open.

  • No sitting under the covered porch. It will be taped off.

  • Maximum of 4 people golfing at one time. Two metre distance must be kept between players not living in the same household.

  • All golfers are required to leave the golf course immediately after completion of round.

  • No gathering on the property or in the parking lot.

  • Golf carts and club handcarts will not be available to rent.

  • Scorecards and pencils will not be available.

  • The flag poles have a handle that you can use your putter to lift and retrieve your ball.

  • All ball wash units will be removed or locked down. Not in use.

  • Rakes in all Bunkers will be removed. Instead, holders are asked to consider it ground under repair. If your ball ends up in the bunker, take a free lift.

  • All guidelines will be followed to not exceed gathering limits established by provincial authorities.

  • Management reserves the right at any moment to limit play or close-off sections of the golf course. Should players not comply with the social distancing guidelines described above and/or other recommendations noted by the government, they will be asked to leave.

Our Members' Thoughts

Judy Robinson

You can learn to golf at any age and you don't feel intimidated

Alison Elgie

It's a Stanley Thompson golf course.  As someone with a 3 handicap, I am still challenged.  Even though I know the course by heart, I never get bored.

Callum Shannon

I like the penny candy at the golf house
